Course Contents
• - know the flags of the international Code of signals and the significance of the single-letter signals.• Know the procedures set out in the international Code of signals and how to make use of the publication.• Responding to a distress signal at sea.• Transmission and receipt of information by visual signaling.• - They will also know the procedures to use in radiotelephone communications and be able to use radio telephones, particularly with respect to distress, urgency, safety and navigational messages.
