Objectives

Outcomes
on the successful of this course the participant should be able to understand the basic principle of surveyor job and develops knowledge to conduct a marine cargo survey with different types of cargos on different types of ships and its extend to shore side. The participant will also be able to meet survey requirements in all conditions. Finally should be able to write reports in professional methods.

basic principle of cargo survey- purpose of cargo survey- the role of cargo surveyor- responsibilities of loss or damage of cargo with relation to international and local requirements- essential elements of cargo handling at sea- causes of damage- conducting cargo survey- cargo stowage and securing for dry cargo- handling of dangerous cargo other than liquid- cargo documents- collecting evidences, data and documents- methods of writing professional report
