Objectives

• This course aims to provide knowledge to trainee who is designated as security auditor with ISPS Code requirements so that they can carry out the assigned duties and responsibilities and participate in the implementation of the security audit of the ship or the port facility.

Outcomes

–Participate with governmental representatives in conducting external security audits.–Conduct internal security audits.–Conduct periodic security inspections/audits to ensure that the appropriate security procedures and measures are implemented at different security levels.–Operate and maintain the port facility / ship security equipment and related systems while conducting the audits.–Enhance the security awareness of ship / port facility personnel to be able to perform their duties and responsibilities–Coordinate with the company security officers / the port facility security officers to conduct internal audits.–Coordinate with the Flag State control to conduct external audits.
