Objectives

• This course aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for masters and Mates advanced safety training and instruction in accordance with IMO Module course Master and Chief Mate (STCW Regulation II/2 Life Saving, Search and rescue 7.01/13 and the requirements of the STCW Convention A-VI/1.1

Outcomes

This course covers the additional safety knowledge and requirements for Masters and Mates regarding advanced survival techniques and provide them with up to date knowledge on the newly implemented safety requirements and the Search and Rescue Techniques.
