Objectives

  • The objective of this course is to provide participants with the knowledge to both practical and theoretical aspects of smoke control and rescue techniques so they can perform their task in associated emergencies. The course also provide participants with the skills, and confidence to respond appropriately to emergencies when there are possibilities of smoke brim-over in the work place.

Outcomes

On Completion of this course participants should have knowledge of the dangers of Smoke inside closed areas, means of searching for and rescue of trapped personnel inside smoke filled areas, as well as the safety checks and Proper use of necessary Respiratory Protective Equipments (RPE) and Personal Safety Equipments (PPE)
