Objectives

• This course is designed to meet the requirements of industrial fire brigade member in accordance with NFPA 1081 Standard - Advanced Exterior Level and Interior Structural Level

Outcomes

On Completion of this course, participants should gain knowledge and Skills required for using the best techniques of fighting fires in both the exterior and interior locations using SCBA, PPE and search and rescue techniques

Course Contents

• Don Fire suits and SCBA correctly• Perform interior and exterior structure fire operations as a team• Deploy and operate fire hoses • Use foam application techniques• Extinguish fuel spill fire using the correct techniques & extinguishing media• Perform effective search and rescue operations both interior and exterior• Demonstrate the use of portable and wheeled fire extinguishers• Demonstrate extinguishment of a methanol fuel fire with AR-AFFF and dry chemical• Demonstrate the use of portable and fixed fire detectors• Demonstrate fuel source isolations
