Objectives

• The aims of this course are to provide passengers & aircrew with the knowledge and skills necessary to react to and survive a helicopter ditching. Also, be able to care for themselves & others in a sea survival situation.

Outcomes

By the end of the course, participants should have knowledge of: HELICOPTER SAFETY HELICOPTER EMERGENCIES DITCHING PROCEDURE & DRILLS LIFERAFT & LIFEJACKET USES EPIRBS & PYROTECHNICSBASIC SEA SURVIVAL DRILLS & RESCUE PROCEDURES

Course Contents

 Travel safely by helicopter to an offshore installation. Travel to/from offshore installations. Respond to helicopter emergencies. Quick brief on how to use HUET module.
