Objectives

• This course aims at providing participants with knowledge about the development and intention of the ISM Code as well as in depth knowledge of its requirements and interpretations.

Outcomes

The participants should be able to: Understand the different items of the code and its practical implementation. Get familiar with the safety management system applied in shipping companies and on board ships. Know the certification procedures.
