Objectives

• This course allows the participants to understand, apply and Implement the requirements of international Maritime Dangerous Goods code in port area and to deal safely with dangerous goods to prevent accidents, injuries and pollutions

On completion of this course, participants working inside port areas should be able toIdentify the different types of dangerous goods, Handle different types of dangerous goods, Understand types of packing,Stow, transport dangerous goods correctly,React properly in case of fire or spillage, Use the code and the required procedures inside port areas as per the IMDG code requirements.
