Objectives

• This course aims to provide training for those personnel responsible for, or involved in, shipboard occupational safety.

Outcomes

At the end of the course students will be able to undertake the duties of shipboard safety officer by:- Developing the necessary skills to facilitate an effective occupational safety organization on board.- Developing interpersonal skills essential to successfully carrying out responsibilities and requirements.
