Objectives

• This program is designed to meet the initial onshore training and assessment requirements for Offshore Emergency Response Team Members as identified in the UKOOA Guidelines for Competence and Training in Emergency Response.

Outcomes

On Completion of this course, participants should gain knowledge and Skills required to respond efficiently to an emergency which includes; Knowledge of emergency response arrangements, the role of the emergency response team member, and incident planning and response.

• How to Maintain a state of readiness• Responding to emergency and preparing to enter the incident area• Entering the incident area and working safely• Rescue Of personnel• Carrying out firefighting operations• Carrying out non firefighting operations• How to Maintain effective communications
