Objectives

• This Course is designed to meet the initial onshore training requirements for Offshore Emergency Heli-Deck Team Members as identified in the UKOOA Guidelines for Competence & Training in Emergency Response

Outcomes

On Completion of this Course participants should gain the Knowledge and Skills required effectively preparing for Heli-Deck emergencies and fighting Helicopter Fires onboard all Offshore Installations.

• How to maintain a state of readiness.• How to carry out routine equipment checks.• Responding to different Helicopter emergencies on/Close to Heli-Deck.• Minimize loss to helicopter and platform structure.
