Objectives

  • The SAR course provides to managers of emergency response organization and SAR personals who are involved in SAR operations an excellent opportunity to discuss and investigate the role of SAR in relation to incident management as well as roles, responsibilities of SAR leaders and the facilities needed in a maritime search and rescue mission.

Outcomes

The trainee by end of the course will acquire:1. The communication management skills which are needed for carrying on the marine SAR operations.2. The concepts and understanding which are required to carry out: The communication functions and basic principles of establishing, managing, supporting and improving SAR services to ensure success.

Distress, urgency and safety communication and messages format.7. SITREP and incident processing data.8. Onboard emergency.9.
