Objectives

  • The aim of this course is to provide the trainee with the objectives of installing the Automatic Identification System (AIS), and the operation theory of the AIS system and the system benefits and limitations.Also, the course provides the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the AIS electronic maintenance

Outcomes

After finishing this course, the trainee will be able to cope with the AIS’s built in software and application practically to take the decision based on the AIS delivered information. The trainee will gain the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the AIS electronic maintenance in the second part of this course. This part of this course provides both theoretical and practical training on the first line troubleshooting of the AIS unit starting from the electronic components to the assembly level to build small electronics circuit reaching to the AIS main circuit troubleshooting.
