Course Contents

IMO International Conventions give the right to Contracting Governments to inspect foreign ships visiting national ports. Port state control practices the given right to verify that foreign ships are seaworthy. Therefore, this Capacity Building Program should be conducted to ensure that attendees are aware for the basic verification requirements. This Capacity Building Program includes familiarization and knowledge for on board and shore personnel to be able to practically prepare their ships for inspection to avoid any delay or detention of ships or to take the proper action on objective evidences.
