By attending this course, participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct effective and reliable Behavioral assessments, which can be used for a variety of purposes, such as selection, promotion, and development.
Day 1: Introduction to Behavioral Competency Assessment• Morning: o Introduction to Behavioral competencies and their importance in the workplace.o Understanding the benefits and limitations of Behavioral assessments.o Exploring different types of Behavioral assessment methods (e.g., interviews, simulations, situational judgement tests).• Afternoon: o Introduction to the competency framework and its application in assessments.o Understanding the role and responsibilities of a Behavioral competency assessor.o Developing an understanding of ethical considerations in Behavioral assessments.Day 2: Conducting Effective Behavioral Assessments• Morning: o Planning and preparation for conducting Behavioral assessments.o Developing effective questioning techniques for eliciting relevant information.o Practicing active listening and observation skills.• Afternoon: o Conducting mock interviews and simulations (role-playing exercises).o Providing constructive feedback to candidate
