Objectives
- This program provides the necessary knowledge about management of chartering and operation contracts in terms of planning, related legal affairs, negotiation possibilities, dispute negotiation, and it gives definition of mandatory terms of insurance policies and types of risks.

Course Contents
The capacity building program emphasizes the role of marine operator in shipping industry with regard to commercial and legal managements, including introducing shipping contracts, chartering and insurance policies in maritime transport adventure. In this program, various legal issuances and contracts according to the Baltic International and Maritime Council (BIMCO) are reviewed. Moreover, INCOTREMS, sales contracts, by International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) are introduced as per the authorities of contract parties.
