Part 1 - To guide candidates to be able to determine how professionally can carry out the following: - Flag State performance self-assessment. - IMO mandatory instruments. - Delegation of authorities to Recognized Organizations (ROs). - The Code for implementation of mandatory IMO instruments . - Audit planning and procedures. - Audit technique. Part 2 – To be fully conversant with the practical application of obligatory Audit Scheme for the benefit of the following entities: a) Contracting Governments/Parties; b) Flag States; c) Coastal States; and d) Port States

Course Contents

This important IMO Members States Audit Scheme Capacity Building Program is designed to promote maritime safety, security and environmental protection by providing the tools for assessing how effectively member states implement and enforce relevant IMO conventions standards.The program goes in deeper professionalism in the following topics:1 The application of the mandatory SOLAS convention, chapter XIII “Verification of Compliance” that entered into force in 1/1/2016. 2 Assist candidates to practically and effectively prepare their Maritime Administration for audit scheme and execution of their obligations and responsibilities contained in IMO Conventions.
