Objectives

• The course covers the main topics of automatic control and automation system in marine application, that covers control loops, transmitters, sensors, PID controllers, PLC programing, PLC in control loops, HMI and SCADA.

Outcomes

At the end of the Program, participants will be familiar with: Know the type of control system used onboard ships - Identify the control loop - PID controller tuning - Understand PLC programming and troubleshooting - Know the principles of serial communication and SCADA system - Practice the control system in marine system machinery.
