Objectives

• By the end of this Program the candidate will be able to command as Master of 24m vessel up to 60 nautical miles offshore

Outcomes

This Program focuses mainly on the practical application of boating and the theory aspects which will have been covered in the IYT Coastal Yachts Master.

Course Contents

The Program covers subjects such as navigational charts and publications, dead reckoning and estimated position, position fixing, tides, tidal levels and data, pilotage, safety at sea, meteorology and much more.
