Outcomes

-This program focuses mainly on the practical application of boating and the theory aspects which will have been covered in the Bareboat Skipper besides the Training Record Book requirements.-Candidates must cover 1000 nautical miles and thirty days at sea including 2 days as watch leader/skipper and 12 hours underway on watch at night.

Course Contents

The program covers subjects such as ship board operations, safe working practice, voyage planning, maintaining a safe navigation watch, using Radar and ARPA to maintain safety of navigation, maneuvering the yachts and search and rescue operations.
