Objectives

• By the end of this course the trainees will be able to:1- Understand the basics of Safety consideration inside the engines room onboard ships.2- Know the principles of using the different equipment inside the engine room, including installation, operation, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and replacement typically used parts.3- Familiar with the different ship piping systems.4- Understand how to record the different technical processes. 5- Use the correct and relevant special tools for a certain maintenance activity.6- Develop skills of technical description through verbal and written communication.
