Objectives

  • should satisfactory understand the basic principles and information's of ship’s stability, and understanding ship stability requirements during maneuvering timeThis course aims to give the candidate a basic knowledge about the principles operation of ship’s gear, the principles of stowage and securing, the securing of different ships types including dangerous goods, how to establish and maintain effective communication during ships handling.The course meet the mandatory minimum requirements for knowledge understanding and proficiency in table A-11/1 of STCW 78, as amended (Manila 2010) for the function of cargo handling and stowage at the operational level, In addition to IMO Model Course 7.03.
