• Introduction to On – Shore Pilotage• On – Shore Pilotage Alongside (outside berth)• On – Shore Pilotage Alongside (inside berth)• Berth and unberth from a jetty port and starboard side alongside.• Berthing between two ships or a ship and the Trestle.• Factors should be taken into account during berthing. • Double Banking berthing in different cases The importance of anchor in on-shore pilotage.• Cases which the anchor cannot be used.• On-shore pilotage by stern (or by bow).• Berthing to a single pier• Berthing between two other ships.• Unberthing through different weather conditions.• Defining the pilot duties Alongside Sea Island: • Berthing/Un-berthing Port side alongside:• Berthing/Un-berthing Starboard side alongside • Considerations• Conventional Berth Mooring (CBM): • Two Buoys.• Four Buoys.• Single Point Mooring (SPM):
