Course Contents
• Introduction, emergency situations, Muster list, Muster station and Marine Safety Signs.• Personal life saving appliances (life buoy- life jacket) Personal life saving appliances ( immersion suit - TPA)• Survival Crafts, Life Raft, Capsules Un-belt, Throw over board, Inflate and Boarding. - Contents of life raft• Communication in distress, GMDSS, SART, EPIRB and Pyrotechinques. • Theory, reasons & Classification of Fire, Portable fire -extinguishers.• Damage control, Firefighting with the help of tugs, emergency stopping of Leaks, use of concrete and use of compressed air• Fire man's outfit & Emergency Escape Breathing Device(EEBD)• Firefighting Fixed systems, Main Fire System, Sprinkling system and Fire Detectors.
