Objectives
- On completion of this Course; trainees should identify the components of the propulsion system that help him maneuver in different weather conditions
Outcomes
At the end of the course, students should be able to: • Explain the effect of right and left hand propeller, with illustration on transverse Thrust.• Classify the types of Rudders and effect on ship maneuverability. • Handel the vessel in the proper way in all situations.• Use the necessary information to perform the required maneuvering. • Recognize the ship conditions affecting the turning circle.• Recognize actions to be taken after emergency situations.
