Objectives

• To provide theoretical knowledge and practical training and skills to become officers of the watch on board fishing vessels more than 24 meter in length

Outcomes

Trainees will be able to get acquainted with the function and tasks of a navigational officers and achieve the exams, receive an official assessment and a Certificate of Competency via government appointed examiners affiliated to the Egyptian Authority for Maritime Safety (EAMS).

The Training Course include the following subjects:1. Fishing Vessels Maneuvering & O.O.W2. Coastal Navigation & Chart work3. Seaman ship, Stability & Construction4. Navigation System5. Collision Regulations (COLREG)
