Objectives

• This course aims to:- Explain the concept and role of cost accounting in the business management- Define the cost accumulation system and its impact on value creation in the manufacturing and non-manufacturing companies- Get a strong understanding of the nature, concepts and classifications of cost accounting- Produce cost accumulation systems, external financial statements and internal reports

Upon successful completion of this course, the learners will be able to: - Identify the specifics of different costing methods.- Understand costing concepts in modern economic environment.- Professionally select any project's cost according to its impact on the business field. - Understand costing system including activity based costing system.- Understand the standards of costing and performance evaluation within multinational companies.

- Cost Accounting Concepts- Cost accumulation systems(costing system, job order, process costing operation, costing and activity based costing- Cost allocation technique- Operations efficiency (just in time material requirements and planning)
