Objectives

• This course aims to:- Teach the concepts and principles from building design through construction documentation using the Autodesk® Revit® Structure software.- Introduce students to the user interface and the basic building components of the software that makes it a powerful and flexible structural modeling tool. - Familiarize students with the tools required to create, modify, analyze, and document the parametric model.

Outcomes

Understand Revit Structure functions, features and capabilities of Software.- Create the detailed drawings and schematics for large-scale buildings and structures- Use editing-tools, details & Schedules, Standard-Views and 3D views and more.- Create much detailed, reinforced designs, link steel design and detailing work-flows- Apply an intelligent model-based process to design, develop and manage Buildings
