Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students will be able to do the following:• Receiving cadastral data, creating a database, as well as controlling the data, and creating engineering reports and panels.• Understand how the program works in analyzing data and producing panels, whether analytical or engineering.• Calculating the drilling quantities and responding to the construction work in a professional manner.• Knowing the program's tools in designing roads and making implementation panels.• Calculating the quantities of operational materials in the roads, such as (the layers of asphalt needed to implement a particular road or any other materials).• Calculating the quantities of excavation and backfilling in the natural or executed ground.

Course Contents

Basics:• Familiarize students with the program interface and its tools and how to control them.• Creating template files.• The main settings to start working with the Civil 3D program.• Preparing data and panels with other programs such as Excel, AutoCAD and others.• Dealing with points, making groups, and controlling display properties and data tables.• Dealing with surfaces, creating them in several ways, and displaying them in different ways, such as making contour panels and analytical surfaces.• Calculating quantities in different areas, whether regular or otherwise, and producing engineering reports.• Settlements (Grading)• Partition (Parcels)Working with roads:• Creating road tracks in several different ways and controlling their characteristics and display methods.• Making the longitudinal sections (profiles) of the natural land and projecting the design levels on it.• Characteristics of the longitudinal section and the control of the exposed
