Objectives

  • - Boost the students' knowledge to understand and extract the essential information from short, recorded passages. - Develop students skills in realizing and analyzing the main idea of a detailed text.- Develop Students' skills in planning, drafting, revising, and editing narratives, descriptions, and explanations with attention to composition and style, as well as sentence formation, usage, and mechanics.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Discuss some articles and gain new vocabulary related to it.- Use the pre-listening questions and pictures to predict what they are going to hear.- Understand how some words change the meaning of the statement after being exposed to it in different forms in a reading passage.Writing and Speaking topics:- Discuss different problems related to some topics and choose the best option based on information give.- Talking about how do they feel using different idioms and grammar lessons taught.- Write a postcard using adjectives that shows likes and dislikes.- Write a note using phrases to sound polite.
