Objectives

• - Expand students' learning skills effectively by teaching critical thinking and formulating their opinion independently through different reading passages.- Develop students' abilities in writing proficient and coherent paragraphs.- Develop students' self-confidence to express his/her ideas and opinions with precision and respond to complex lines of argument after holding a group discussion.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:• Analyze various authentic reading texts and identify the focus of the clue.• Use linking words to help in placing the sentences correctly.• Listen for specific information and identify differences in what speakers are saying.Writing and Speaking topics:• Write an article using questions. • Write a letter using a broad range of vocabulary.• Report using linking words and conditional sentences.• Holding different discussions using expressions to mark the different stages of speech.
