Objectives

• - Develop kids' reading skills by reading different comprehension passages.- Develop a basic vocabulary set by listening to and identifying unknown words in stories.- Develop kids' writing skills by teaching them punctuation rules and how to write in a paragraph form.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Listening to short audio sources and recognize main idea of the topic.- Identify subject pronouns.- Understand direction given and recognize key information from a reading passage.- Read a text and distinguish between true and false information given.Writing and Speaking topics:- Talk about likes and dislikes using different expressions.- Give directions using prepositions of places.- Write short paragraphs about different topics related to units covered like shopping area, favorite places…etc.
