Objectives

• - Develop students' competence by reading graded texts of increasing length and authentic material.- Develop Students' skills in planning, drafting, revising, and editing narratives, descriptions, and explanations with attention to composition and style, as well as sentence formation, usage, and mechanics.- Familiarize the students with different highly developed syllabus that helps and develop student's four language skills.- Provide students with controlled practice in using language functions in various situations.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Expand students' learning skills by enriching students’ critical thinking and formulating their opinions independently through different reading texts.- Develop students' writing skills in producing coherent paragraphs.- Develop students' self-confidence to express his/her ideas and opinions with precision.Writing and Speaking topics:• Conduct a conversation comparing issues using adjectives and adverbs.• Write a letter using formal and informal language• Write a review explaining and describing something such as a book, film, etc.,…
