Objectives

• - Develop students' communication strategies to participate in a group discussion.- Summarize information from different listening tasks- Provide students with a word bank of terms and vocabulary items.- Use learned strategies to identifying the topic, the main idea, and supporting details to interpret short narrative or descriptive passages on familiar topics.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following: Reading and Listening topics:- Apply skimming and scanning skills to comprehend main idea and specific details- Practicing reading comprehension skills to increase vocabulary- Listen to different recordings and identify topic and key ideas easilyWriting and Speaking topics:- Briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions- Write 5 to 6 paragraph's essay with coherent statements- Talk about free time, asking about others opinion and agree or disagree with him/her- Write grammatically correct sentences using future simple and future continuous
