Objectives

• - Expand students' learning skills effectively by teaching critical thinking and formulating their opinion independently through different reading passages.- Develop students' abilities in writing proficient and coherent paragraphs.- Develop students' self-confidence to express his/her ideas and opinions with precision and respond to complex lines of argument after holding a group discussion.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:• Skim for main ideas and understand meaning from the context.• Practice relevant, high-frequency vocabulary in various contextualized exercises.• Summarize paragraphs in reading texts in terms of common collocations and expressions.Writing and Speaking topics:• Write an essay including a contrasting idea.• Talking about Shopping and sports.- Write an articles using comparison to explain opinion.
