Objectives

• - Develop kids' reading skills by reading different comprehension passages.- Develop a basic vocabulary set by listening to and identifying unknown words in stories- Develop kids' writing skills by teaching them punctuation rules and how to write in a paragraph form

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Read small texts in English with comprehension and expresses orally her/his opinion about it. - Read aloud stories with appropriate pronunciation- Infer the meaning of unfamiliar words by reading them in context.Writing and Speaking topics:- Use punctuation appropriately.- Write dictation of words and sentences related to new vocabulary words.- Use meaningful sentences to describe/narrate factual /imaginary situations - Review initial letter sounds- Write grammatically correct sentences using present simple tense
