• Understanding how to create new Photoshop documents and how to save them in print and web formats.• Understanding how to make selections and how to move, copy, save and modify them.• Understanding the need of layers in Photoshop document and knowing how to create, use and manage them. • Transforming design elements using Transform and Free Transform commands.• Resizing and cropping images.• Understanding how to choose colors and applying them.• Creating and using patterns and gradients.• Working with various painting tools.• Creating, editing, formatting and warping text.• Understanding drawing modes and knowing how to draw simple and complex shapes using Shapes and Pen tools.• Repairing and retouching images using Retouching tools.• Knowing how to work with preset and custom layer effects and styles in Adobe Photoshop.• Understanding what layer mask and quick mask are and how to use them.• Creating special effects and changing colors of an image using blending modes.•
