• • Knowing how to create 2D artworks using Adobe Illustrator tools and commands. • Understanding layers and knowing how to work with them efficiently.• Understanding how to cut and transform objects using the program tools and commands.• Knowing how to choose colors and how to apply solid colors, gradients and patterns to objects fills and strokes.• Knowing how to recolor artworks. • Understanding how to convert bitmap images to vector images and how to modify them.• Knowing how to add text to designs and how to format it.• Knowing how to apply graphic styles and effects to artwork and how to modify them.• Understanding perspective and isometric drawing.• Learning how to design storyboards digitally.• Learning how to organize and save AI files for motion.

Course Contents

• Creating and saving documents for motion.• Artboards.• Selection, drawing, typing, painting, modifying and navigating tools.• Aligning and distributing objects and changing the stacking order of them.• Grouping objects.• Working with layers.• Stroke and pathfinder panels.• Using color picker, colors and swatches panels and knowing how to apply colors to fills and strokes.• Creating, using and editing gradients and patterns.• Clipping Mask.• Applying blending modes and transparency to artwork.• Using graphic styles and effects.• Using Image Trace command to convert bitmap image to vector artwork.
