Objectives

• - Expand the range of topics for class discussion- use clues to guess the meaning of simple texts- Extend students' Knowledge and use of grammar - Increase students' vocabulary use and knowledge - Develop students' speaking skills for a wide range of ideas- Develop students' listening skills for general ideas

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Learners can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Give a summary of the information about short videos, listening tasks.- Recognize the main idea in surveys and short texts.- Complete various listening activities based on authentic interviews and discussions.- Read short sentences and underline its basic parts.- Express the main idea in texts in different words.- Understand questions about personal daily schedule.Writing and Speaking topics:- Make recommendations.- Maintain a short dialogue about a previously learned topic.- Talking about favorites, likes and dislikes.- Write simple phrases and sentences about themselves and people, where they live and what they do - Write affirmative and negative sentences.- Talk about needs, work skills and duties at work.- Talk about family relationships and talents.
