Objectives

  • • Help students engage in interesting language activities.• Build students' vocabulary bank through thematically –based lessons • Reinforce students' language of different stories• Develop students' listening skills of model conversations• Develop students' controlled practice of the language• Develop students' reading skills of a variety of genres , including articles , profiles and interviews

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Learners can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:• Understand everyday signs and notices: in public places, such as streets, restaurants, railway stations; in workplaces, such as directions and instructions.• Carry out various interactive activities .• Analyzing videos and National Geographic short documentaries.• Analyze short reading texts critically.• Mark predictions about short reading texts.• Complete a series of written exercises based on listening tasks.• Identify the majority of the vocabulary in different lessons.Writing and Speaking topics:• Describing a favorites like song • Establish social contact: greetings and farewells, introductions and giving thanks• Use simple descriptive language to describe family connections and music types• Writing a book review• Explain the subject and location of images related to different locations
