Objectives

  • • Describe the philosophy and principles of adult education; • Evaluate and integrate key philosophies, theories and concepts in the development and facilitation of adult education; • Integrate adult learning theory, knowledge of learners’ cultures, and other theoretical frameworks to set a climate and create an environment conducive to learning; • Explore and identify ethical issues in adult education and in facilitating adult learning.
