Objectives

  • This course aims to teach students the fundamentals of:• Understanding Spatial Analysis.• Exploring Arctoolbox.• Using ArcGIS tools and methods to Analysis Vector Data.• Using ArcGIS tools and methods to Analysis Raster Data.• Analyzing spatial data using basic selection and geoprocessing tools.• Using 3D Analysis Tools.

Outcomes

By the end of this course , Students will be able to :• Create spatial models including surface models, density models, hillshades, and viewsheds.• Create realistic perspectives, stepped surface and other maps to visualize 3D spatial data.• Perform network analyses to determine best routes, service areas, and closest facilities• Construct a file geodatabase model.• Describe the improved data modeling and integrity capabilities of the file geodatabase.• Demonstrate proficiency with ArcGIS and the Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, and Network Analyst extensions.• Create automated model to geospatial data.
