Objectives

• - Develop key reading skills including inference and deduction through comprehensive teaching assessment support.- Develop the students' skills in presenting personal opinions, understanding different points of view and distinguishing between fact and opinion, through analyzing different reading and listening activities- Boost students' self-confidence to help them to participate in various interactive tasks- Provide students with a word bank of terms and vocabulary items

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Revise familiar structures in meaningful contexts- Understand and extract the essential information from short, recorded passages- Review grammatical items that help in communication- Identifying main ideas of discussion related to different topicsWriting and Speaking topics:- Briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions, related to different topics like animal adaptation- Write an article using different time expressions- Ask & answer about personal information & routines- Write grammatically correct sentences using present perfect continuous and past perfect continuous tenses
