Objectives

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the learners will be able to:• Create spatial models including surface models, density models, hillshades, and viewsheds.• Create realistic perspectives, stepped surface and other maps to visualize 3D spatial data.• Perform network analyses to determine best routes, service areas, and closest facilities• Construct a file geodatabase model.• Describe the improved data modeling and integrity capabilities of the file geodatabase.• Demonstrate proficiency with ArcGIS and the Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, and Network Analyst extensions.• Create animated maps using time aware data.
