Objectives

  • - Develop students' intensive reading skills of literary skills.- Develop students' spoken fluency in group activities based on the themes of the lessons.- Extend students' recognition of advanced constructions with modal verbs.- Build students' viewing skills with videos and documentaries.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:Listening:- Recognize the language and tone of reviews.- Summarize key segments or events of videos.- Identifying aims from some audio topics from different sources. - obtain information, ideas and opinions from highly specialized audio and video sources. Speaking:- Give oral accounts of past experiences using Persuasive language.- Use reference words in role plays and class discussions.- Deliver an advanced oral presentation about various themes.- Depart spontaneously from a prepared text and follow up interesting points raised by members of the audience.
