Objectives

• Discovering and developing the student’s artistic and journalistic skills, encouraging them to be creative and acquiring basic skills to start in the field of design, journalism, video production and editing, and website design through a variety of individual and group practical projects that integrate programs and combine the development of technological and personal skills.

Image Making Techniquesknowing how to use different techniques and materials to create images through implementation on a variety of images using more than one technique and material.Adobe Photoshop• Introducing what Adobe Photoshop is and what it is used for.• Knowing how to create new Photoshop documents and how to save them in print and web formats.• Understanding how to work with selection, painting, typing, drawing, cropping, retouching, zooming and navigation tools. • Understanding what layers are and knowing how to work with them.Adobe InDesign• Introducing what Adobe InDesign is and how to create new documents.• Understanding how to work with pages and add page numbering to them.• Understanding how to work with selection, drawing, typing, transformation, modification and navigation tools.• Knowing how to work with layers.• Importing graphics and knowing how to create contact sheet and fit graphics to frames.• Knowing how to use Photoshop files in InDesign document
