Objectives

• - Develop a basic vocabulary bank based on various listening activities.- Develop students' recognition of unfamiliar words using visuals and games.- Develop students' language skills based on different topics and games.- Recognize differences in shapes.- Follow directions accurately.- Develop kids' basic sight reading skills.- Provide kids with some vocabulary needed to introduce themselves.- Develop kids' basic tracing skills.- Recognizing that letters have specific sounds.- Developing a basic vocabulary set by listening to and identifying unknown words in stories.- Develop a basic vocabulary bank based on various listening and reading activities- Develop students' skills in adding and subtracting numbers- Develop students' language skills based on different topics and games- Familiarize students with different weather collocations and how to describe it

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:• Recognize vowels and constants• Guess the meaning of words using visuals.• Follow direction to color different practicing exercises• Count from 10 to 50• Understand and follow simple directions• Recognize familiar names, numbers and very simple sentences• Guess the meaning of words using visuals.• Recognize both upper and lower case letters.• Understanding the reading process• Singles and plurals• Guess the meaning of words using visuals• Add and subtract.Writing and Speaking topics:• Constant blend• Trace and write letters and numbers assigned to this level.• Recognize the odd shape with stating the difference.• Recognize three letters words, animals' names , animals' sounds• Introduce themselves to others.• Trace letters and numbers.• Describe pictures in basic sentences.• Talk about weather using new weather vocabulary taught• Write seasons of the year• Count till 100-20
