Objectives

  • This course aims to:- Identify the difference between a fact and an opinion.- Understand how descriptive and comparative language is used in informative texts.- Use different parts of speech correctly including nouns verbs and adjectives.- Understand principles common to analytical writing

Outcomes

- Contribute to and participate in group discussion with a variety of students about grade topic.- Demonstrate understanding of figurative language as figures of speech ,cause and effect, connotations and denotations.- Deliver a cohesive and well developed 4-5 minute presentation .- Produce simple, compound and complex statements and questions in a variety of tenses and verb forms like the passive voice.
