Objectives

• • Developing Students reading skills by providing them with different types of reading texts.• Developing key reading sub skills such as skimming and scanning.• Identifying the main ideas of texts or paragraphs.• Developing receptive vocabulary of items in articles through focused activities.• Encouraging active contribution in learning by leading them to observe structures in context to figure out language use and form independently.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students will be able to:- Read different articles about websites and horoscope and recognize key sentences describing future plans.- Write a paragraph about future plans with predictions about a person’s life in the future .- Making guesses and hypotheses using future tense - Identify new vocabulary through contextual clues.- Talk about future possibilities using adjectives and compound nouns.
